Tombs of the Kings and the harbour

The Tombs of the Kings are about 2 km from the harbour, so a taxi or the bus saves a hot walk. Route 611 connects Tombs of the Kings Station with the harbour, then carries on along the seafront to Geroskipou. The Archaeological Park is by the harbour, so the bus puts both of the main ancient sites on one line.

The upper town

Karavela Station is the way into the Old Town, the Municipal Market and the museum area. The Old Town is roughly 3 km uphill from the harbour, so route 618 to Tombs of the Kings Station, then a change to 611 for the harbour, is the bus-only way down to the water. See the Old Town for what to do there.

Geroskipou and its beach

Route 611 ends at the Geroskipou municipal beach, by the waterpark. Route 606 also serves the beach, but only from April to November, and only Monday to Saturday. See Geroskipou beach.
